Loading into your BIOS

  • Follow this Video tutorial on how to firstly get to your BIOS.

Disabling Virtualization

We firstly want to disable CPU Virtualization in our bios.

For Intel CPU

  • Disable the following 3 settings in your BIOS: VT-x, VT-d, Virtualization Technology. Those are the most common names normally located in Advanced -> CPU Configuration.

For AMD CPU

  • Disable the following setting in your BIOS: SMV MODE. This is normally located in your Advanced CPU settings.

Disabling TPM and CSM

  • Disable both CSM and Trusted Computing inside your BIOS settings.

Disabling Secure Boot

  • Disable Secure Boot in your Security settings, if you do not find it there head over to your Boot Settings and disable it there.

Choosing your BIOS Mode

  • This a MUST DO, ensure your BIOS mode is in **UEFI** instead of Legacy. You can change this in your Boot Tab.

Save and Exit

  • Ensure you Save & Exit your new settings, if you don't they simply won't apply and you will encounter problems.
